Prayer is at the center of all we do at Shawnigan Alliance Church.
Prayer is vital to the life and work of Shawnigan Alliance Church. We believe prayer is the foundation that all ministries need to be built on. Prayer releases the Holy Spirit to work in ways we would never think of and enables us to hear and discern the voice of God. We not only want to be a church that prays, but our desire is also to become a church of prayer, echoing Jesus’ words in Matthew 21:13: “My house will be called a house of prayer.”
Opportunities for corporate prayer
- Reaching Heaven prayer time on Sunday morning. 9:15-10:15 am in the office portable.
- Prayer Summits are offered approximately every 2 months. (more information below)
Prayer Summit
The Holy Spirit moves in unmistakable ways when the people of God gather to pray! At Shawnigan Alliance Church we desire for prayer to govern all we do. Prayer Summit is an opportunity for the church to practice this in community. As we devote ourselves to God through prayer and worship, we invite the Holy Spirit to perform His transformative work in us and through us.
Join us as we petition the Lord together and seek His will and way for us as individuals, for our church, our community and our world.
