SAC YOUTH!
Shawnigan Alliance offers 2 Youth Groups and a Kids Club. Jr. Youth is Grade 6-8,
Sr. Youth is Grade 9-12, and the Kids Club is Grade 3-5. Please see the schedules below for each group.
On Sunday mornings there are youth classes for the grade 6-12's. On the first Sunday of every month, our grades 6-12 students are welcome to join our main service upstairs or take part in service opportunities during the service. Sunday mornings, our 11:00am service offers classes for our youth in the Youth Portable, and in our 9:00am service, Youth are welcome to stay in the main building for the service.
SAC Youth exists to create an environment where any and all youth are welcome and feel secure to ask questions about their faith. We desire to provide fun and engaging opportunities to connect with students of the same age but in a variety of stages of their faith journeys. We speak of the ways that God can help us in our everyday lives while allowing for room for the questions and even skepticism of those who have not decided what they believe yet. We hope to provide enjoyable learning opportunities for those who choose to make our youth programs a part of their week. We encourage questions and desire to draw students into closer relationship with each other and with God.
SAC Youth for midweek programming is being led by Mike Willing with Trevor Dunham running youth classes on Sunday mornings.

Social networking through text messaging, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter etc. is the way youth communicate with each other on a routine basis. Plan to Protect 1 and Shawnigan Alliance Church acknowledge this reality but are still cognizant of protecting kids. Please be advised that Youth Leaders will not initiate contact with youth, other than advising on upcoming events and activities throughout the program year.
Note: Shawnigan Alliance Church is not responsible for children who are allowed to walk home, those who drive themselves home, or whose parents have allowed them to be picked up by people other than parents, after events.
