What Is Baptism?
In Mark 16:16, Jesus said, “Believe and be baptized.” Baptism is an act of obedience and an important step in our Christian walk. It is a public declaration of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. At Shawnigan Alliance Church, we follow the example of Jesus as he was baptized in obedience to His Heavenly Father. We regularly offer baptism classes to clarify and answer any questions you may have. An Invitation To Baptism
During our baptism Sunday on June 7th, Pastor Steve gave an invitation for people to respond in the moment. This invitation is available to all who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and who are ready to publicly declare their faith in Jesus.
